CoRTA 2010
http://corta2010.di.uminho.pt/
Scope
CoRTA (4th edition) is a forum where researchers, developers, educators exchange ideas and information on the latest academic or industrial work on language design, processing, assessment, and application.
The conference emphasizes theoretical, practical and experimental work and invites "research papers" but also "position papers" and "posters or tool demos" on methods and tools for all aspects of compiler technology, code analysis, and all language paradigms.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
-
Modeling, and specification of domain specific languages.
-
Paradigms, concepts, methodologies, and novel constructs on programming languages.
-
Language quality assessment and grammar metrics.
-
Compilation and interpretation techniques
-
Dynamic and "just-in-time" compilation.
-
Code generation and optimization.
-
Run-time techniques and memory management.
-
Virtual machines.
-
Program representation and visualization.
-
Program analysis and transformation.
-
Programming, debugging, and refactoring environments.
-
Secure, parallel and distributed programming environments.
-
Mobile and Embedded programming environments.
Submission Guidelines
The proceedings will be available at the conference.
The submission must be written in English, submitted in pdf format and can be: up to 12 pages, for a research paper; 4 pages, for a position paper; or 4 pages, for a poster or tool demo paper. You are strongly encouraged to use the Springer LNCS style for proceedings, available at http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-2-793341-0
Like in the two previous editions, we will analyze the possibility to make a selection of best papers to invite for a special issue of an international journal---for your reference, CoRTA2008, and CoRTA2009 best papers were submitted, after extension, and published as a special issue of ComSis Journal (http://www.comsis.org/index.htm).
